A question about Kato roadbed plastic

Post by IndyBob »

I have since edited this question because if was kind of silly of me to worry about the subject
PLEASE see the next post of mine which is really an "answer to my question"!!

The adhesive I would like to use says it can be used on plastic, BUT not recommended for "Polyethylene OR Polypropylene".

An answer to my own question.

Hello Again,
I went off the "deep end" with my question about the Kato track plastic.

I decided to STOP making a Mountain our of a Mole HILL! I did not even have to go out yesterday to buy that Dap caulk that was suggested. I am also a Pack-Rat of sorts and I remembered I had some caulk somewhere and I finally found it. What an UNBELIEVABLE find. I had an UN-opened tube of that Dap adhesive that was suggested !
I have finally attached 2 sections of track today!

Hint: Pick up a pack of a variety of different sizes of vacuum caps the next time you are at the Auto Parts store.
They have come in handy for several uses over the years. I used one today to seal the end of the caulking cartridge after opening it.
I bought some about maybe 10 years ago and still have some left.
