David has been in touch with his HO scale 4×11 layout.
He’s a man of few words, but that doesn’t matter as he’s made a start and it looks like he’s having fun.
And that’s what it’s all about…
“This is my HO scale.
I have been doing this for 3 and half year, still not much, but here goes.
I hope you like my pictures
I’m not good at showing these things but im doing the best I can.
I have taken some showing the lights on my layout
David”
A big thanks to David for sharing his HO scale 4×11 layout.
(It reminded me of Yale’s: HO scale layout 14×4.
He did a great job with his lights – but there’s only one layout I think of when it comes to LED lights: Fred’s LED lights.
And lastly, I do just want to say thank you to everyone who supported the blog by grabbing the Beginner’s Guide.
I know I lot of you buy it just for the printable buildings that come with, so I’m very much looking forward to seeing any of the buildings on your layouts soon.
Anyhow, without your support, there wouldn’t be a blog, so thank you.
That’s all for today folks.
Please do keep ’em coming.
And if today is the day you get started on your layout, the Beginner’s Guide is here.
Best
Al
PS Latest ebay cheat sheet is here.
PPS More HO scale train layouts here if that’s your thing.
The only comment … besides the lighting being fantastic …. is … that American Flag isn’t lit … after dark. That would complete the picture in my eyes ….
I’m starting an N Scale layout and I hope mine will look as good as yours.
Too cool . Very nicely done , lights look great , good job .
Love the lights!
It is always surprising to me how magical a layout becomes when you light the buildings and street lights in low light. Well done, Rob McCrain
Some nice detail work. Good job.
very good lighting. old cars gotta love them
Nicely done. You’ve gone all in with the city scenes. Great job. Just a few suggestions to upgrade the realism. Cut the flag pole in half. Maybe make the sidewalk joints thinner. Show some trains. But really, it’s all good. Thanks for sharing.

Great detail and mood. Well done !
Great railroad, David! I would LOVE to see the track plan, as I’m considering changing my Quail Valley railroad.
David, Nice work! I love the night photos with the lighted buildings and street lamps. Your downtown area looks really good too. Thanks for sharing.
Where are the trains?
David- great work- love the details! Thanks for sharing!
nice work. good lighting.

“LAYOUT,” what happened to the train tracks? 🤔
Nice layout David, looks great with good scenery. Keep up the good work.
Great job with the lighting, and a lot of detailed and interesting scenes you’ve created. The backdrop you selected was a great idea as it blends well and makes it seem like the town is fuller and larger. City of Hope looks like a wonderful place to live! Keep up the good work!
