You all know how much I love an update.
And not long ago, Bill sent in this fab update of his switching layout.
But quite a few questions came up – and Bill has been kind enough to record another video to answer them:
“Hi Al
I had a few questions posed in my post from the other day.
I made a video that shows how everything goes together and answers the questions some of my fellow modelers asked.
Thanks!
Bill”
Latest ebay cheat sheet is here.
A huge thanks to Bill!
There are more Bill’s posts here, in the hall of fame.
That’s all this time folks.
Please do keep ’em coming.
And don’t forget the Beginner’s Guide if today is the day you stop dreaming and start doing.
Best
Al
you don’t have HOn3 on your ebay cheat sheet.
Great layout Bill. Quite a feat of engineering but, boy do you need DCC. Your fingers must be sore from throwing all those switches.
How can I hook up various items to a fast track, like a lighted station or some
additional items.
Like this entire concept, way more fun than just moving between 2 points. Mind must be working even while asleep thinking different ideas for this. And you still have a garage to change oil in the car……
Regards, Rich
Like the switch layout but me myself would want a travel / return tracks as opposed to back and forth motion.I do appreciate the work involved though.
Glad to see those track ends blocked off. I can now relax and let you enjoy your trains. Looks like a very nice track plan for shuffling cars.and trains.
Great work!
My biggest challenge is “hands-free” switching operations [my layout is highly automated] especially since I an in N scale…
