Good looking layout–but I had to look twice before I realized that what I thought was a giant Ferris wheel or a fancy bridge in the background was in reality a kitchen chair! LOL

What a nice thing to do for a friend, Tracy. Built from leftovers or not, it’s a great looking layout by any standards. One question: what scale is this, HO? Hmm, OK, two questions: what’s the overall size of the layout? Thanks a million for posting, it sure makes me want to get going on mine. ( If only I can find a multi-talented friend to spend a few weeks on it…) Warren
The comment on Farris wheel looked like a bridge on first look then I figured it out as a chair.
Great job there Tracy, yes I liked the stepy by step that you did with the pictures. Did you go to college for an geologists? Why, because on how you made the surface of the mountain, one actually two of the mountain peaks look like extinct volcanoes. Then the grad that is around them looks like it also. Very nicely done job. What scale is this?? It looks smaller then HO, N gouge???

Tracy, you’ve built a great layout. I love the different levels you’ve created,and the rocks and mountains are very realistic.I don’t think there’s a flat piece on your layout. It’s not overcrowded with clutter but retains it’s realism. I’m sure your friend is delighted with there new layout and appreciates the time and effort that you’ve put into it.

ell I’ll be dog-gone–the bridge is really a CHAIR! Wouldn’t have caught it without help from other commentators. In fact I was wondering if I had that same bridge somewhere in my left-over boxes.
