John’s Australian model railroad

John’s video is hysterical. But clearly, he knows his onions when it comes to model trains.

He’s sent me his DVD. I’ll keep you posted!

John’s site is here.

Have a look at John’s railroading videos – they’re amazing. John’s site is here.

John,if things don’t work out with the Fraulien you can come to Atlanta Ga and do a Mel Brooks movie you can fit right in. Thank you for the fun

  2. Darn nice website and railroad! Hilarious video! I love the background music! His wife acts like mine would! My wife doesn’t like anything that costs money, i.e., hobbies! Very interesting video!

  4. I loved the video I started to collect back in 1988 and managed to survive all the negative feelings. I must give credit to the amount of grace that was displayed during my venture. Beside my extensive die cast car collection I managed to accumulate 150 freight cars and 50 engines, and we are still happy and married after 54 years, advice offered.

    GOOD LUCK,

    Lew,

Well done John……As our friend Alastair has stated, I am returning to this hobby after a twenty five year absence and already I have been able to determine how this process, which can be expensive, is readily accepted by the wife. A friend of mine who models in “O” just had a custom built Ethanol Plant made for himself. It covers 48″ x 22″ and is very detailed. He told his wife it cost just $400 when in fact it cost $3200. I just bought an engine with sound and DCC for $395 but showed my wife an ad for an identical dummy unit and she was amazed how inexpensive this hobby can be. God lov’m.

I told my wife you have to see this guy. She said”This one seems a little nuts.” Then she watched the whole thing and loved it. Thanks for making my day. Jacque Pennsylvania USA
