The latest Hall of Fame member

Rob’s been touch again.

And I’m so glad he has. Over the years, he’s contributed some stuff stunning and enteraining posts, and they are always helpful too.

So it gives me great pleasure – and I hope you’ll join me too – in welcoming him in to the Hall of Fame.

“Hi Al,

Every Christmas time I create a special video for the occasion. Here is this years.

Merry Christmas to all Railroad/railway modelers all around the world.

Rob”

(Latest ebay cheat is here it’s Christmas crazy at the mo.)

As you’ll see from the links on Rob’s Hall of Fame page, he’s been a solid contributor over the years. I just loved his ‘peep hole’ video. I’m very glad to have him onboard.

That’s all this time, folks.

Please do keep ’em coming.

And if you want to get off that arm chair and get going, the Beginner’s Guide is here.

Wishing you all a very, very merry Christmas.

Best

Al

  18. Rod Mackay says:

Lovely, Rob. Super bit of lighting, well done. We tend not to back into stations like that over here, we would normally couple a pilot engine on the back and drag it in, even At Templecombe in the southwest, where almost all the trains on the Somerset and Dorset line used to run up a short branch into the station on the east-west Southern main line, if no pilot was available for the set back move, the train engine would run round twice. Any excuse for a bit of extra engine working!
    Happy Christmas all,
    Rod
