Here are some updated picture of my PW Lionel layout.
A video of a PW 682 Turbine A Williams car that I added seats and replaced lights with LED, along with a RailKing Pennsy passenger cars that I painted and added people
Here is the picture of the old sign that was on top of the Brewery, also I opened up a few spots on the layout to add some miners, the other photos were updated pictures I took over the last couple years.

I model N Scale and love my 6×12 layout. But it is neat the amount of detail in larger scales you can do, especially inside the cars.
As always, fun to see the huge variety there is in our hobby.
Andy that is a fine looking layout you have great video also, scenery is top notch, wish I had a more up to date digital camera the pictures would be much better, Thanks again Al! will send more pictures down the road God Speed All!

Such internal detail – phenomenal.
Everything is better with a night scene when all of the lights are on. I especially like the miners. Is the guy with the bent pole fishing?

Love it all, but especially the NH stuff. I have much HO NYNHHRR dating back to my ’60’s Budd cars (at 8, I thought they were named for me), which I had ridden at the time. Just starting a new layout. My cousin was O (NYC) at the time, but his Dad had more room than mine! His own train room. And thanks, Alastair, just joined your site. Keep the fun going!

Hi Mark, Nice layout! I see you are running 027 track, I switched to O gage and I have a lot of 027 track and switches.
Thanks all for the kind remarks, wish had a more up to date digital camera, down the road I’ll do a bit longer video. Matison that is a fisherman, and to Rich I have a box full of 027 gargrave and switches left over from my other layout that was twice the size computer went bad and lost all my pictures. Thanks again Al!

Retro Lionel for sure but nobody had scenery as this one. The New Haven colors were very popular and still strong contender. Also go with the different colors on same RR, they all work together.
Watch off and on “Boys Railroad Club” from the mid-50’s (easy to find) with American Flyer. That was bad, accessories never worked right (always little fingers pushing things along), real water??, 2 rail track as bad as 3-rail, not realistic whatsoever. And then “Herkie” made the entire show at end lmao. Those 15 minute episodes all I can take these days. Sure had Sugar Plum dreams about that one long ago.

Good old Lionel! My first trains were Lionel bought from a friend at school – much to his father’s regret. I had a layout that took up a good half of the room and gave me much pleasure.. In fact I still have the trains (or what is left of them) with rails and controller.
If anyone is interested in taking them over and restoring them all, it would be good to send them to a good home.
What an awesome layout Mark. Lot’s of detail and scenery. I’m working on a Lionel train layout also with the old track. Great job, love it !!!!! Also like the Pennsylvania PW 682 turbine A Williams car how you reworked it and added the people and lighting, awesome job !!!!!

No offence meant to anybody, but I love layouts like this. It reminds me of when I was a kid. When trains were more toylike than realistic.
