Christmas layout

Rob’s been in touch with his Christmas layout:

“Al,

I’ve been watching from the sidelines. Lots of good information flowing here.

The Equestra Train Club has been putting up a Christmas layout since 2014.

We are in a 55+ community and set the layout in the clubhouse gathering room.

We were so proud of our first layout pictured below.

How lame it looks now. We added something every year till last year. We weren’t allowed to put the layout up last year.

This year we completely rewired the O gauge tables. There are three 4’x4’ tables. That was the original layout.

Because the layout had to be taken down and stored the wiring was always in need.

None of us are getting younger and getting under the tables is a problem.

We now have each table permanently wired and connected to the others using Jones plugs.

I’ve also attached a video from this year.

Rob”

A big thanks to Rob for sharing his Christmas layout.

Quite a few have come in this year.

There’s more Christmas train layouts here.

Or perhaps you’ve feeling a bit bahhumbugy, and just want to look at a good old fashioned all year round layout, have a look at John’s. It’s a stunner.

That’s all for today folks.

Hope you’re feeling festive.

Please don’t forget the Beginner’s Guide is here if you want to get going on your own model railway adventure in the New Year.

Best

Al

Yes there are N, HO, ON30, Streets, O Gauge, and G.
I’m not sure what gauge the train around the Christmas tree is.
