Steve’s new layout

“Over a year ago you posted some pictures of my layout on her and called it a sofa layout.

Here is the descendant of it now almost completed after suffering a stroke. I have built a completely new main board and incorporated the former branch line on the end of it.

I hope you like it.

Steve”

And here’s a track plan of the main oval:

And if today is the day you jump in and start laying track, the Beginner’s Guide is here.

Great job Steve, I see that you have included some people at the train station. Also I see the traffic has increased in the small town, business is doing good. I like the close ups of some of the buildings and your night seen. Great job.

One more idea Steve, all along the edge of the train table install an wood piece of wood trim that sticks up 1/4 above the table itself. But if you do stain it before install. That is what I do in case of little fingers that like to hold on to the side of the. Train table. Great job again and good luck.

That was at the asbestos open pit mine, in Asbestos, Quebec, Canada.
Some time, We would go there to hand my father hand lunch when he would forget it.
It was called BOX 12, next to my grand-father farm.
No, I did not died from asbestos.
